How to really read an Aura

How to read ‘AURA’.

READING OR SENSING AURAS IS VERY POSSIBLE! TRY THIS WITH A PLANT:
First, place your plant against a bright sunny window. (This can also be tried by placing the plant against a mirror or black backdrop or by candlelight. Experiment and find out, what works best for you!)?

Close your eyes and relax. Now open them and try to soften your focus. What do you see? If you see nothing, don’t panic, it may take practice. Try it with various different objects, and with people. Eventually, you will start to see a vague energy like, haze. This becomes clearer as you practice. You may never actually see them, but instead learn to sense them.

You may also start to see one, or many colours. In children, the ability to see Aura is often present from birth; often they loose it as they grow. I am positive that animals can see them! Dogs know who likes them and rush in and cuddle them but cats are not good barometers! Cats can be perverse and go straight to a cat hatter or refuse to leave the side of those with a fur allergy!

Tarot-The method can be taught-but you have to develope

Any one can be taught to lay out Tarot and Runes for that matter. You can learn the symbols, meanings, spreads. You can become expert at it-clinicaly and mechanically by rote giving presise text book definitions. Which is fine-however, if you learn the Runes or Tarot and then take some time to develope your own intuition, your own readings can become so much more meaningful and accurate too.

Learn the Tarot or Runes from a book by all means, then try to almost meditate on the layout you produce, try to almost forget what you have learnt and feel what hidden meanings they may be giving you. Practice with a friend, as them to give you honest feedback on your results. Keep trying and all of a sudden (like learning to swim) you will suddenly be 'hit' by the absolute knowledge that you really are 'picking up' intuitivly, a lot more that you learnt from the book!

Become adept at Tarot

Try not to allow others to handle your cards. Shuffle them yourself allowing the questioner to tell you when to stop. This guarantees no tampering.

Try to assess for yourself now groups of cards and how you feel they relate to each other. For example: If several cards are drawn that may indicate ill health, even though the card may have other meanings also, ill health is strongly indicated.

Ask a question and draw three cards. Tell your self how these three cards relate to each other and produce your answer.

14.Let three weeks elapse, go back to the person and ask them about the reading. Find out how helpful and accurate it was. Detail your findings on one sheet of A4 paper.

ADVICE

You must NOT predict death for various ethical and legal reasons, if it is strongly indicated, use your common sense. You can gently prepare someone for this loss and be supportive.

A word about confidentiality.
A questioner needs to be able to completely trust a reader. Anything that is found or said during a reading is private. Never make the mistake, even with a close friend, of mentioning anything seemingly innocent to a third party. If, for example, you said something like "A, is ambitious and wants to travel" Depending on who you tell, you cannot be sure of the consequences of this information. Their employer may find out and consider them a fly by night and pass them over for promotion. Their parents may hear this and start fretting about a possible parting. If confidentiality is broken it will invariably get back to the questioner. They will feel angry, annoyed and quite rightly let down, all this will get you is a reputation of someone not to be trusted.

The Seven Card Spread

THE SEVEN-CARD SPREAD

Card one represents distant past.

Card two represents recent past.

Card three represents current situation.

Card four represents obstacles.

Card five represents the best that can be achieved

Card six represents future influences.

Card seven represents the distant future.

THE NAME SPREAD

This card spread uses the questioner’s name. For example: David Alan Smith

To begin:
The first line of cards corresponds to the first name. In this case David. You would layout 5 cards. This represents the past.

The second line of cards corresponds to the middle name. In this case Alan. You would layout 4 cards. This represents the present.

The third line of cards corresponds to the surname. In this case Smith. You would layout 5 cards. This represents the future.

If the questioner has no middle name simply repeat the first name as the middle name also. If the questioner has more than one middle name, only use the first one.

ADVICE

Remember; use your intuition to try to explain not only what is happening now but also what is likely to happen if a particular course is taken. .
Always remember, if everything in the future were set, there would be little point of any of us being here.
Remember, there are always choices!!

A good reader will admit about 10% e.g. Meeting people changes events will take place. No matter what it is for, the rest of the reading the questioner has the power to alter their course through life events. The choices they make will determine their future. That is what you can help them with.

STUDY EXERCISE 8.

Spend some time now practicing with the three spreads we have studied. Ask family members and/or friends to be your questioner.

REVERSED CARDS.

As I have stated before, I do not place any significance on cards that are drawn upside down. However, you must, with time and experience decide what works for you. Some people say that if they are reversed they carry a weaker meaning or even that they mean the opposite. There are many different spreads.

MUL TIPLE CARDS.

Significance may be placed on lots of kings for example being drawn in each reading.

A brief guide.

2 or more Kings - advise needs to be sought, important meetings.

2 or more Queens - arguments and insincerity, deception is around.

2 or more Knights - Unexpected meetings, a new friendship with deep bonds.

2 or more Pages - Unfavorable news to do with someone young, ill health may be indicated.

2 or more 10s - Anxiety about travel and changes.

2 or more 9s - Unexpected gifts and success, good news in romantic matters.

2 or more 8s - Learning something new about family or friends, educational courses, imminent births or engagements.

2 or more 7s - Secrets and excitement, a rest from the mundane.

2 or more 6s - Emotional irritation.

2 or more 5s - Take better physical care.

Starting a Reading-Learn Tarot

DOING A GOOD JOB!

I hope after all your hard work you are starting to learn the meanings of the cards. Keep practicing and do experiment with a different deck from time to time. If you are still having trouble remembering certain cards you could try the following: Purchase some stick on notes, attach them to the back of the offending cards complete with the meanings. Still try to make a conscious effort to learn. Don't worry you'll soon be an expert.

STARTING A READING

Where you actually do this is up to you, it may be helpful to be somewhere quiet where you will not be disturbed. As long as you are both comfortable, it is not important. I have found it helpful to ask the questioner to sit in a way where their arms and legs are not crossed and preferably with their feet firmly on the ground. I am not 100% sure why this works better it just seems to. An educated guess would be that it allows for free flow of energy. What do you think?

A WORD ABOUT PROFESSIONALISM

You may eventually charge for your readings and there is nothing wrong with that, we all have bills to pay! However, if something unforeseen crops up and you cannot fulfill an appointment, let the client know as soon as possible and offer them a free reading at a later date. Remember they where probably looking forward to this and have had to rearrange their schedule. This gesture of goodwill will be appreciated and will go some way towards making up for their disappointment. In my experience this shows people that you do care and are truly sorry. You benefit to, they normally continue to return to you for readings and will recommend you to family and friends.

WHAT SHOULD I CHARGE?

This is entirely up to you but it is wise to use your discretion. If a person cannot afford too much or has frequent readings, think about a lower rate. Just occasionally someone may come to you and your intuition tells you not to charge him or her, be guided by your conscious. Remeber, you are just a begginer so perhaps it may be unwise to think of charging anyone in any case.

I have not usually found it helpful to give readings more often than once a month. People need time to allow things to happen, digest the information and implement any changes necessary. However, someone may find them selves in a particularly distressing situation where they just feel the need to talk. Use your judgment. If you feel you can spare a few moments to be a listener and be supportive, do. My experience has been that only very few people will abuse this. If someone is persistent, and has an on going problem such as drink or drug abuse, it may be useful for you to look up help line numbers and refer them on. I keep a list of help line numbers covering everything from cancer care to immigration charities. You may find it helpful to do the same.

BEGINNING A READING.

Before you start it may be of help to sit quietly for a few moments, whether you have a faith or not ask that you may be helped to tune into this person, be of assistance and open yourself up to incoming information. At the end of a reading, you can sometimes feel knotted up inside. This may even occur during a reading. If it does, do your best to continue, no one can ask for more. If you really cannot tune into someone, it really is best to admit this and refer him or her to someone else. Sometimes we may accidentally tune in too well, if they are exhausted or depressed, we may begin to feel the same. When the reading is over, try to close down or retune. Sit quietly and tell yourself you are shutting down for now. Give thanks to who ever or whatever you believe gave you your information. Take some deep breaths; imagine yourself surrounded by white lights, if these feelings persist, as soon as you can, take a shower or bath. Some people believe that this cleanses your aura (the energy field that surrounds us all) and erases negativity. Try to relax and forget the reading.

Although numerology does not appear to have much to do with the tarot at first glance, look again!

Many people believe that objects places and even people can all be broken down into a number, that universe is a well-ordered mathematical place.

Here I am only going to deal with people. It is very fast and effective. It may just give you a little more insight into someone's character, you decide if it is helpful to you.

To find a persons number, add up their day, month and year of birth.
For example: If your date of birth were the 6th April 1968, you would add 6+4+1+9+6+8=34. You then add 3+4 to get a single number = 7. The person’s numerology number is 7.

In numerology there are 9 numbers.

NUMEROLOGY NUMBERS AND THEIR MEANINGS

Number 1

Born leaders and very ambitious. Usually quite powerful but they are never tyrants. People tend to look up to number 1 s. Although they don't suffer fools gladly, they are often defenders of the weak. They are very confident and are not afraid of new things be they people or situations. Very optimistic, are easily frustrated if things don't go their way. Independent and capable of ruthless decisions. They are never satisfied. How have you been doing? I hope by now you are managing to remember the meanings of some of the cards. If you are finding it difficult, this may help. Write out some of the meanings and photocopy them. Stick them anywhere you spend time, on the kitchen cupboards or in the bathroom! As soon as you have mastered one, replace it with another. If you are artistic, you could even sketch the cards. For example: Whilst you are on the phone.

When ever you have some quiet time, choose two or three cards and learn the meanings. Make your own notes on each card, adding your own thoughts and feelings (even if they contradict the meanings I have given you. Repeat this exercise until you have learnt the meanings of all the cards in the major arcana.

Do not rush this process; work at your own pace.

THE MINOR ARCANA

The four suits have been associated with many things. For learning purposes we will use the following associations.

KEY CARD

Some people use a key card or witness card.
This is a card chosen to represent the questioner.
I personally have found this unnecessary. I feel it removes valuable cards from the pack. You decide for yourself.

Here is a breif explanation of all the major arcana and what I feel them to mean. You may feel or read that they mean or can be intupreted differently.

THE MAJOR ARCANA EXPLAINED

0 - THE FOOL. THE BEGINNING
The Fool shows a child like person, brave, trusting and perhaps slightly naive? The stuff hero's are made of. He is beginning a journey, the souls quest for wisdom and expanding horizons. Is he foolish and about to take a dangerous leap into the unknown, or is this a time of testing of blind faith? Does he know he will be protected?

The Fool is a bit of a rebel and is linked to Uranus and Air. This card definitely tells us of approaching adventure and excitement. As we learn to relate cards to each other, just what type of adventure will become apparent?

1.THE MAGICIAN.
The Magician is the master of secret knowledge.
He has the ability to tap into all the power of the Universe.
He is the link between two worlds, associated with Mercury, imagination and illusion.

The Magician brings new found confidence, new projects and creativity but
With a strong reminder that all that glitters is not gold.

2 - THE HIGH PRIESTESS.
The High Priestess represents secret knowledge, physic ability and strength. It also represents tests and trials to come.
This card is closely associated with female intuition and the Moon. .
She comes to us to ask us to think very carefully about what we are about to take on in life. She also indicates that help is around us, probably from a very clever yet practical loving woman, if only we will accept her help.

3 - THE EMPRESS.
The Empress represents real love and the natural world.
The Empress councils us; that our physical and emotional needs will be met. She is strongly associated with Venus.

She is loving and kind and able to deliver comfort to our lives, in many decks she appears to be pregnant. She is the giver of life and represents love, romance and a happy stable home life. She may also foretell of a new baby about to enter our lives.

4 - THE EMPEROR.
The Emperor represents a powerful man and a ruler. He represents the law, discipline, responsibility, leadership, power and strength.

The Emperor is strongly associated with Aries and great courage. He has attained a high status and power but remember, to get there he has been disciplined, shown courage and worked very hard. He is a father figure but may also represent the law and legal matters. He may be a powerful, loyal and courageous friend. Not a person to cross, as he can also become a ferocious enemy. He may indicate material gains and a higher status to come.

5 - THE HIEROPHANT
The Hierophant is the ruler of spiritual matters, knowledge and understanding. The Hierophant is strongly linked to Taurus bringing good advise and loyalty. He brings inspiration and new ideas. Have you heard the expression, "When the pupil is ready the teacher appears?" and perhaps in the most unlikely of places. He indicates help and guidance is forth coming, he may also bring news of a wedding.

6 - THE LOVERS
The Lovers is a card of passion, relationships, emotion and temptation. This card is often associated with Gemini. It councils us there is more than one-way to love, wisely or otherwise. These two people may be happy together, or are they siblings or close friends?

This card often appears when a choice. In a relationship is imminent. It indicates that a deeper understanding or even a commitment in a relationship will come.

If single, a strong indication of new love, the coming together of dual energies male and female. It also asks us to be cautious and choose wisely.

7 - THE CHARIOT.
The Chariot indicates strong association with Mars, progress and travel. Perhaps we will be called upon to go out on a limb to achieve great things in our own individual way. It brings mastery over our emotions. The clearing of obstructions from our lives, the opportunity for great progress in general. Travel is strongly indicated but this may be an inner journey.

8 - STRENGTH.
The Strength card represents great emotional and physical courage. Close associations to Leo. The Lion is strong, proud and self-confident.
It councils us that patience and endurance will win the day. Use this strength mercifully and wisely. Problems will be resolved this way. A good card to draw if ill health has been present. As it is a strong sign that health will improve now. Remember, lions do not endlessly chase their own tail, but move out purposefully and with confidence.

9 - THE HERMIT.
The Hermit represents the great mediator; he lives a good simple and honest life. He is trying to find his own path and achieve enlightenment. Sometimes this is unnecessarily a lonely process.

He is a world apart from the Fool; he has the worries of the world on his shoulders often to be found deep in thought. He knows he has responsibilities; it is time to take things slowly and retreat. Give yourself time to look at your own life and where you are going.

10 - THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE.
The Wheel of Fortune represents the circle of life strongly associated with Jupiter and unexpected good luck. It is telling us that things happen sometimes, over which we have no control. The element of the unexpected comes into play. It foretells new beginnings and good luck. The card councils us to take a wider view of the world. For example: If a bus is five minutes late and you are feeling annoyed, this is not really going to ruin our entire lives. It reminds us those opportunities we would never have Imagined coming to us in a million years can and do, bringing great happiness with them.

11 - JUSTICE.
The Justice card is associated with balance, equilibrium. Libra and the law. This card brings the power of reason into unreasonable situations. Disputes pertaining to legal matters, marriages or even business partnerships. When dealt with in an honest, ethical and reasonable way will be resolved.

Remember to accept an apology when given sincerely. Success is forth coming.

12 - THE HANGED MAN
The Hanged man looks like a shocking card at first glance but look again.
Does this man look unhappy to you? The figure is suspended, but he has not fallen. This card is associated with sacrifice, Neptune, Water and delays. It often talks directly to you about your emotional life. The message he brings is a clear one; sometimes a personal sacrifice is necessary in the name of progress. However, you will be rewarded and supported as the obstacles clear.

13 - DEA TH; THE CARD OF CHANGES'
The Death card is the most unpleasant looking card, though not one to necessarily be feared. The type of death indicated is usually the death of a situation rather than a person. It can imply something like loosing a possession, a belief or a relationship. It may shake you and feel like a death but rising from the ashes will be something new and exciting.
Always remember, no matter how cold and long winter seems, spring and summer are not far behind.

14 - TEMPERANCE
The Temperance card says to us that moderation is the key. This card is linked with Sagittarius. More haste, less speed. This card is talking about the flow of time. A balance has to be found here within our lives. It talks to us about taking the time to recharge our batteries. A time of self-healing.
This card can also represent food and drink in excess.

15 - THE DEVIL
The Devil card deals mainly with material and sexual matters. A great attachment to basic things. Power, sex and money, all of which can hold us back. Over possessiveness within existing relationships is indicated. It tells of a situation where we may feel guilty or chained. We may need to let go altogether. Strongly linked with Capricorn we need to show great determination plus self-control to rise above very basic instincts and desire.

16- THE TOWER
The tower card represents unexpected shock and the removing of familiar security. An unpleasant bolt from the blue. A Cast- iron-guarantee that things will never quite be the same again. Transformation and challenges to met. These may pertain to property or buildings, urgent repairs or structural problems may be present our faith will be severely tested as we fight to look for the positive in this situation.

17- THE STAR
The star talks to us about great hope. It is sent to encourage and refresh us. A new hope for our life and for our plans, a form of rebirth or remodeling can be expected. I f exams our being taken the star brings a sure sign of success. When relationships have been strained and difficult, a renewed sense of pleasure may be felt. It is as if you are protected right now from misfortune so relax and enjoy it.

18-THE MOON
The moon card represents crisis and hidden emotion, a warning not to trust first impressions. The moon symbolizes the best and worst in human nature. It fires the imagination, but also brings forth the lower aspects of personality it shows someone around you is capable of being deceptive within a relationship or where business is concerned however comma, on a personal level someone who seems as though as old boots at first glance can turn out to have a very soft center. Be warned, things are not always as they seem. The moon is associated with Cancer.

19- THE SUN
The sun is the most symbolically easy to read a bright warm period of sunshine is about to enter in ones life, happiness and fertility are indicated to enter ones life as is pleasure and a child like zest for life. A good card to draw if new ventures, travel or relationship are sought. The sun card is a strong indication of personal growth and newfound maturity.

20 - JUDGMENT.
The Judgment card is strongly linked to fire. Drawing this card tells us that urgent decisions need to be made, but, with the certain knowledge that nothing is final. Perhaps however, we have been dwelling too much in the past. It also brings retribution of unfair situations. Changes to ones work life or overall position is strongly indicated. The time has come to put ones house in order. Remember, after a forest fire comes luscious re-growth.

21 - THE WORLD
The World card represents the world knocking on your door. Your horizons are about to be widened. Travel to far away places can occur. You have reached a point where you have fulfilled many obligations and you can now reap the rewards. An engagement, new job or business venture can arise quite swiftly. If a new love appears in your life, they are likely to be well traveled and cultured with much to teach you.

It can be helpful to note down your impressions. Work your way through all the cards in turn. Keep your notes, as at a later date they may prove useful.

THERE ARE 78 CARDS IN A ‘TRADITIONAL DECK.
The first 22 numbers (0-21) MAJOR ARCANNA
The last 56 are the MINOR OR LESSER ARCANNA.

Take the whole pack and shuffle;

As I mentioned earlier, whether you choose to shuffle, or you allow the petitioner too (the person, asking for the reading), is entirely at your own discretion.

Some people for quick readings prefer to only use the MAJOR ARCANA. I DON’T!
I use the whole deck, feeling you are loosing out on so much, should you fail include them all!

Once shuffled, lay out 10.
I don’t feel it matter, how!
Straight lines, geometric shapes, they will read ‘Just the same’!

Reading your cards now from left to right,
Or top to bottom (depending how you have chosen to lay your cards;

The cards correspond to;
1- THE GENERAL SITUATION.
2- FURTHER PERHAPS, LESS OBVIOUS ASPECTS AFFECTING THE GENERAL SITUATION.
3- YOU THOUGHTS AND PROCCESES.
4- WHATS HAPPENING IN THE WING’S OR BACKGROUND.

In other words; past influences that have contributed to where you are to day.

5- RECENT INFLUENCES.
6- EVENT’S TO HAVE AN INFLUENCE, IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
7- WHAT WILL GIVE YOU ACCES TO YOUR DOORWAY, FROM THE PRESENT INTO YOUR FUTURE?
8- DOMESTIC CIRCUMSTANCES
9- DREAMS AND ANXIETIES
10 OUTCOME? NO!

WHAT AT THE PRESENT, LOOKS LIKE; THE MOST LIKELY PATH!

How could it ever be ‘the final outcome’, when we have (for the best part any way!) ‘Free- choices’?

A WORD ABOUT BEDSIDE MANNER

Remember, if someone comes to you for a reading, chances are they have a problem. Please treat everyone with care, tact and respect.

Remember, even if someone looks fine and happy that may not be the case. Please also remember that the readings are strictly confidential and should not be discussed with anyone other than the client himself or herself.

Some people are very chatty and may feel a great need to talk or they could just simply be friendly souls! Judge this carefully. Remember you are there to help them. Try to avoid discussing issues personal to yourself unless you feel you have been through something similar and it may help them to know this.

Some people may be very quiet or agitated. If they are very quiet or even silent, respect this and continue with the reading. Do not try to make them speak. If they feel relaxed and comfortable they will probably start to respond so initially, try not to let this put you off.

Caution should be used when reading for someone you know very well. It is by no means easier, you may feel you know this person extremely well and throughout the reading things may appear that surprise you both. Do not ignore these things thinking I know this person is happy and fulfilled not depressed as the cards indicate: Please double check what you feel you already know.

Now, a delicate subject; what do you do if a mother and daughter arrive wanting a reading together?

I personally feel, refuse and do two separate readings instead.
If only one person wants a reading and someone else wants to sit in, I would personally refuse this request also. .

Why is this you wonder? No matter how close two people are, can you ever really know everything about someone? Even in the case of mother and daughter.

For example: Say you start to do a reading for the daughter, and it comes to light that she lost a child either through abortion or miscarriage and mum suddenly becomes upset saying "I didn't know about this?" You end up with two upset people on your hands. You may think surely if someone has a secret like this they would not want their reading sat in on, the answer is complicated.

Firstly, people temporarily ‘bury’ memories of unpleasant things and selectively (but genuinely) forget them.

Secondly, they may not be prepared for how accurate you may be and never dream that you would un-earth a particular event.

Thirdly, once an unpleasant memory is bought to the surface a person may be very emotional and have a deep desire too; cry or to talk in depth about the event. They will wish to do this in confidence!

CHOOSING YOUR CARDS

Tarot cards come in many shapes and forms these days, when you are in the process of learning however, it is advisable to start with a more traditional pack such as the:

. IJJ
. RIDERWAITE
. CELTIC TAROT
Or any that I have personally chosen and added down the side of this blog-Go take a look.

These are the easiest to start off with, all those listed above and down the side of this blog. Once you are more adept the sky is the limit. Cards of different shapes with pictures of everything from flowers to aliens on them are available. There are also psychic decks with just a few geometric shapes with many completely blank cards included.
I will review a new pack from time to time at Tarot Magic.

Cards are, remember merely a "tool" and in the end you will choose whatever you feel more comfortable with. You may find you choose several decks that you like but can only successfully produce readings with perhaps only one or two of these so, if you are having difficulties try a change of cards. It is helpful to start out with 2-3 sets to see which you get better results with.

Many professional tarot readers buy packs of cards and swap them with each other firmly believing they get better results with cards that they do not purchase themselves. I feel this is mere superstition. I buy my own cards and they work just as well as those I have been given.You will find what is right for you. Once you have decided on a deck they become like a pair of well-worn shoes, comfortable, ideal for their purpose and very well suited. Keep them with you and handle them often. Place them in a piece of dark material and perhaps in a box. Some people believe that this keeps other peoples energies away from them.
And that is the mystical reason for this ritual, I believe, it stops other people fiddling with them and protects them from loss or damage or tampering. It must also be said right here that ordinary playing cards are also used by many readers, so experiment once you can read real Tarot cards by replacing them with ordinary playing cards and see what happens!

There is much talk about tarot symbols and many legends put forward. Christians relate cups from the Holy Grail, the cup Christ drank from at the last supper.

The Celts claim they correspond to the four treasures of Tuantha De Dannan yet there are still more claims that the cards relate to astrology.

Every culture or belief system can fit in with the tarot, which makes them truly universal.

HOW THEY WORK

Many have said, that by the reader shuffling the cards it turns the cards into a vast library of knowledge, and that the cards contain every human emotion and situation known to man. You just need to know which book to choose and which chapter to read and then any question can be answered. If we will but, learn to read.

CAN CARDS PREDICT THE FUTURE?

Many believe time is the fourth dimension and that the future already exists and cards help us to get a glimpse of this. Others believe spirit or fate guides the cards. It does not matter how they work as long as they do. Cards do not dictate the future, they advise, enlighten and guide. After all the future is not set in stone or there would be little point in anyone having a reading. With a reading we are able to take action and/or change our own destiny!

REVERSED CARDS

Reversed' cards are cards that are drawn upside down. I personally do not view this as significant.

ADVICE

I do not believe that anyone can do there own reading as well as someone else could do it for you; it has been my experience that it simply does not work. It may be a different story for you so try it. You can certainly use yourself as a test subject as your learning. .

I feel uncomfortable doing a reading for anyone under the age of 18 this is a personal choice. I feel below this age there is a danger of unduly influencing a person. You must use your own discretion.

Being psychic or having the ability to give a reading is a gift. It is a joy when you see that it has helped someone. However, with this gift comes a lot of responsibility. Please always use this gift wisely and responsibly.

I would like to say at this point that there in my opinion, is no advantage to being of Gypsy or Celtic decent. The only advantage in belonging to a particular ethnic culture is I believe that you may have had the good fortune of being raised in an environment that did not shun or make weird off psychic ability.

Tarot- Use them to unleash your psychic ability.

Am I psychic you may ask yourself?

Yes. With out a doubt! We are all capable of demonstrating psychic ability.
Let me explain: We all know someone that from a very young age, with out any tuition has been able to draw really well and with ease, don’t we? Does that mean that the rest of us, to whom the ability to draw does come easy are doomed never to be able to draw? No!

Many art teachers have assured me that for example; they can take anyone and with a little practice teach them to draw say, an acceptable bird. Some they tutor will be great masters, some simply very good and others acceptable. But…all will be able to be taught to draw an acceptable, recognizable, image of a bird.

Psychic ability is a bit like this;
If like myself, you were lucky (or unlucky) enough to be born with a highly developed psychic ability, good for you! Why are you reading this blog?
For every one else, with the use of a few tools you can be taught and develope! Tarot cards, crystal balls, and the like do not make you and cannot make you psychic. You have this ability within you already, but...they can certainly help.

BEING GIVEN A PENCIL AND PAPER DOES NOT MAKE YOU AN ARTIST DOES IT? However, try drawing with out these tools.

I am going to teach you how to use some tools to aid your psychic ability to come to the fore. They in them selves do not make you psychic but will help unleash your naturally present psychic ability.

I am going to ask you to trust me here, and whatever you think of them complete every exercise you are given. The art teacher could not teach any one to draw if they do not do the exercises they are set. If you are to be successful in unleashing your natural psychic ability, you must do the work. No one can do it for you. I will give you the knowledge, recommend the tools, and explain till I’m blue in the face but…you must do the practical assignments!

Tarot cards are a great tool for unleashing your psychic ability;

There are many books available on the Tarot. Many were written a long time ago. If you compare them many have contradictory meanings for the same card. So you’re left wondering, which is right. They seem to stop there.

There is nothing about how to interpret many cards together or how to proceed if you wish to become a good reader. They are books for your information only. They do not teach. If you try very hard with various books and get going, what do you do when something comes up that is not covered by your books?

You have no tutor to turn to for advice: I have devised this course with all these points in mind. I have also taken into account that we all learn at a different pace and have varying amounts of time to devote to study. You may take as long as you like to complete each section or the entire course. Until a section is complete I will not expect you to rush along to the next. I feel this may have the effect of rushing you or causing you to feel overburdened and you will not learn or progress, as you should.

AN INTRODUCTION TO MODERN TAROT

No one can be sure where the Tarot came from. Symbols and imagery date back as far as ancient Egypt and beyond. The Tarot cards have been found from the Middle East to Europe.
Within the symbolism of the cards, links have been attributed to Astrology, Numerology and indeed Christianity. An understanding of all these subjects is unnecessary.

I believe the cards are a "tool" to access our own intuition. Whilst it is helpful to learn how to use them and have a basic understanding of the meanings, I hope to guide you to follow your own intuition, to use them to form a link; between your conscious (your reality right now) and your unconscious (the reality that is going on right now that you are unaware of.)

Many people believe in a universal unconscious, which we share, and that tarot cards allow us to delve into this vast pool of knowledge. I like to think they help us form a link to knowledge from a higher place. It matters not what religion or beliefs you hold, there is no reason why anyone should feel uncomfortable using this tool.
